Mission
RCA seeks to fully educate our students through discipleship to Christ, academic excellence and character formation in a loving community. RCA purposes to enrich the whole person: mind, body, and soul.
vision
RCA's vision is to change the world through Christian education, one student at a time.
RCA offers preschool classes beginning at two-years-old through 12th grade.
RCA is dually accredited. The school is fully accredited through Cognia, which accredits public and private schools. RCA is also accredited through the National Christian School Association (NCSA).
Cognia provides schools access to effective and insightful tools that can inform and support school improvement plans. The organization is made up of experienced and dedicated educators who embody an authentic commitment to school improvement and enhancing learning and development opportunities for learners.
The National Christian School Association believes that true Christian education can instill a spirit of discovery, innovation, and well-rounded thought that prepares students to be global citizen leaders in public, private, and social sectors. NCSA supports member schools as they do all of these things with excellence. The National Christian School Association exists to help its member schools grow the kingdom through its students, uphold Christian principles, and commit to academic excellence in the process.

Education freedom Scholarship
Education Freedom Scholarships will allow residents of Tennessee who have a child entitled to attend a public school in grades K-12 to use state funds toward education expenses, including tuition and/or fees at registered Category I, II, or III private schools located in Tennessee. The scholarship is worth $7,295, and covers the cost of tuition at RCA. Families may apply for EFS in the spring of each year.
RCA’s board of directors and administration understand that the decision to seek Christian education for your children is a decision that comes with a sacrifice; therefore, they are committed to keeping RCA’s tuition among the lowest of any comparable school in the Southeast. The cost of Christian education is never an insignificant one; therefore, RCA offers a limited amount of financial assistance for qualified families.
To aid in the awarding of scholarships, an established third-party assessment company, FACTS, will independently evaluate all applicants for financial assistance. FACTS will provide their recommendation on the amount of financial assistance required for each applicant. FACTS qualification for a particular level of financial assistance is no guarantee that such assistance will be received. Apply by clicking the link below.
RCA Financial Aid Scholarships are only in effect for the given school year. Students shall reapply each school year. Students shall maintain a cumulative grade of “C” in all classes in order to retain the scholarship throughout the current school year. A student must also maintain proper behavior in order to continue to receive assistance.
A discount of $900 for the second child (first child pays full tuition) and $1,150 for the third or higher children is given to families. For programs less than five full days, the multi-child discount is prorated based on the program.
Tuition can be paid in full in July prior to the start of the school year (2% discount) or semi-annually in July and December (also 2% discount). Families who like to spread payments out may choose to do so over 10 months or 12 months (an annual fee of $100 per family is included in the monthly pay options).
The Christian faith is intentionally woven into every aspect of the academic experience. Biblical truth serves as the foundation for all learning, and students are encouraged to see the world through the lens of Scripture. Teachers model Christlike character and incorporate a Christian worldview into their subject matter, helping students understand how faith connects with science, literature, history, and the arts. Daily Bible classes and chapel services foster both intellectual and spiritual growth. RCA’s commitment is not only to academic excellence but to shaping students who think critically, lead faithfully, and live purposefully for Christ.
No, but parents and students (of adequate age) shall read, understand, and accept a basic statement of faith consisting of the following principles:
- God is the creator; we are created in the image of God.
- All people sin.
- God sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, as atonement for sin.
- Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the grave.
- Redemption is in Christ Jesus and only Him.
- The Bible is God's word to man, is without error, and is the only true scripture.
Bible is taught in three year cycles at RCA. A student will travel through the pages of the Bible 4 times from Kindergarten through 11th grade. Senior Bible is a special emphasis class that helps shape Biblical worldview and give practical application. Our goal is for each student to develop a working understanding of the entire story of God as revealed through the Bible.

BJU Press is used for ELA and Math from Kindergarten through 12th Grade. This curriculum is aligned with Tennessee's state standards and is written from a Biblical worldview. Using this curriculum in core subjects all the way through the elementary, middle, and high school experience provides the vertical alignment necessary to make sure there are no gaps in the student's exposure to important material, and prepares them ready for college, the workforce, and beyond.
spire
The SPIRE reading program is designed specifically for struggling readers with the teacher at the center of instruction. RCA's SPIRE instructor is Mrs. Kathy Gates who is an Orton-Gillingham trained teacher. One key component of Mrs. Gates' class time with her students is multi-sensory instruction and the use of hands-on materials. Both tactile experiences and kinesthetic movement create and reinforce important learning pathways. SPIRE students meet with Mrs. Gates twice per week in one-on-one and group settings.
pathways to learning
RCA’s Pathway to Learning Program is designed to offer support for students who need a more individualized learning path. Our goal is for all RCA students to have what they need to be successful academically.
Those participating in our PTL program may need support in one or more of the following areas:
- a PTL plan for classroom accommodations or modifications
- early intervention in core subjects
- additional support from another adult while in a classroom setting*
* Some PTL opportunities require an additional fee. Please contact your school principal for more information.
