We are looking forward to the beginning of another great year at RCA! Please mark your calendar and make plans to attend orientation.
ORIENTATION SCHEDULES:
K - 12th GRADE ~ MONDAY, AUGUST 3 ~ 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
KINDERGARTEN - 5th GRADE ~ Visit your classrooms at the times listed below. These meetings allow the teachers to cover pertinent information with the students and parents as a group. Teachers will remain in their rooms for additional meet & greet opportunities throughout the night.
- 5:30 – 5:45 ~ Kindergarten
- 5:45 – 6:00 ~ 1st Grade
- 6:00 – 6:15 ~ 2nd Grade
- 6:15 – 6:30 ~ 3rd Grade
- 6:30 – 6:45 ~ 4th Grade
- 6:45 – 7:00 ~ 5th Grade
6th - 12th GRADE: Teachers will be in their classrooms for meet & greet opportunities, with the exception of those needed to facilitate meetings. Students in the following grades are asked to attend the meetings below with at least one parent in Room 206.
- 6:00 ~ 6th Grade – Welcome to Middle School
- 6:30 ~ 9th Grade – Welcome to High School
- 7:00 ~ 12th Grade – Welcome to Your Senior Year
ALL FAMILIES PLEASE STOP BY THE GYM TO:
- Pick up 6th – 12th schedules
- Visit athletic, extra-curricular, and PTO information tables
- Place money in student lunch/snack accounts
- Make payments or accounting inquiries
- Pick-up placard for car line identification
- Sign up for R.A.C.E. (after-school care)
- Pick up embroidered shirts from Sew Write
- Purchase spirit tees
- Drop off any missing student record items or updated immunization forms*
*Kindergarten & 7th grade students are required to have updated immunization records.
NEW: K-12 Student Water Bottle Policy
BOTTLES WILL BE PROVIDED AT ORIENTATION (no charge)
To promote health, safety, and a focused learning environment, students are permitted to carry and use the official Riverside reusable water bottle while in class.
Approved Item: The designated Riverside water bottle
*Middle and high school students are also permitted to use disposable water bottles purchased in the RCA cafeteria.
Not Permitted: Yeti tumblers / Stanley cups / Any non-approved beverage containers
