SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS
Riverside Christian Academy is in need of passionate guest educators who empower students to expand their horizons. We are looking for dynamic, positive leaders to be Substitute Teachers who will carry out our mission of fully educating our students through discipleship to Christ, academic excellence, and character formation in a loving community. At RCA, we purpose to enrich the whole person: mind, body, and soul.
RCA is currently hiring both Pre-K and K-12 substitute teachers.
RCA Substitute Teacher Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans provided by the full-time teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students.
- Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions, and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student.
- Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground, and in the cafeteria.
- Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan.
- For long-term substitutes: develop lesson plans and assignments consistent with the regular teacher’s past lesson plans.

FACILITIES & MAINTENANCE
Riverside Christian Academy is seeking a facilities/maintenance worker with experience managing a facility. This position will require a person who can work on a flexible schedule based on school events.
Facilities/Maintenance Job Description
Under the direction of the President and Business Manager, this position will be responsible for the care and upkeep of all physical facilities at RCA.
